Call for Sites 2031

As part of the District plan process, East Herts issued a Call for Sites in 2011. This gave the opportunity for landowners and developers to identify building plots for future development. EHDC then spend quite some time analysing these sites for suitability before considering them suitable and appropriate.

Faced with a dramatic potential increase in housing, over 2,000 dwellings, A committee comprising Buntingford Town Council, Buntingford Civic Society and BARD, analysed these sites and prioritised them. This analysis was presented to East Herts for their consideration when writing the District Plan.
