Buntingford Town Council has installed two new pedestrian gates at Layston Churchyard.

The old gates were in desperate need of attention and Councillor Stan Bull was especially concerned with their deterioration.

The Town Council has been made aware of an issue regarding the seating area outside of the Coffee Shop in Buntingford High Street.

Buntingford Town Council and the Buntingford branch of the Royal British Legion are commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a special ceremony and beacon lighting.

The event will take place at the Buntingford War Memorial at 20:15 on Thursday 6th June 2024.

All are welcome to attend.

The Ceremony will end at 21:30.
