Planning Applications

Planning Applications are normally discussed by the Planning Committee which meets twice each month. Applications for large developments are discussed at specially called Full Council Planning meetings. Details of the meetings are shown in the Council Calendar. The Agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the meeting.

Whilst the Town Council considers and comments on all applications affecting the town, the controlling authority is East Herts District Council who can choose to take on board or ignore our comments.

Members of the public are also invited to make comments on planning applications; visit East Herts Planning, enter the reference number for the planning application you want to comment on, and click 'make a comment' to have your say.

East Herts District Council now list all planning applications & related documents online. Visit East Herts Planning to view all details and documents.
